Cosa c'è di meglio che passare San Valentino con le persone che ami? Galeotta fu la domenica e la pioggia, tuttavia a casa nostra si respira tanto tanto amore. Mi sono alzata di buon mattino per preparare il dessert, ancora una volta mi sono affidata a Valentina e alle sue meravigliose ricette: cuori red velvet. Ce li siamo appena gustati insieme a una fumante tazza di té, ottimo risultato al palato ma vi risparmio la foto perché di aspetto erano, come mio solito, orribili (faccio proprio pena con la ganache al cioccolato). Gli uomini di casa ci hanno viziato a pranzo con un vassoio di sushi e una piantina rigorosamente rossa e io ho fatto i salti mortali per recuperare la scatola di cioccolatini extra fondenti per mio marito che avevo nascosto in macchina. Che giornata migliore di oggi per condividere un progetto tutto cuoricioso? Commissione della mia Pulcina che ha scelto ogni dettaglio: righe lilla e viola, cuori fucsia, copriorecchie e trecce. What's better than spending Valentine Days with your loved ones? Blame it on today being Sunday or blame it on the rain but today our home was filled with love. I woke up early to make today's dessert and once again I used one of Valentina's wonderful recipes: red velvet hearts (recipe in Italian only). We've just tasted them together with a cup of hot tea and they were delicious. I really can't post a photo though, they just looked too ugly (I'm no good with chocolate ganache). My men treated us with sushi and a red kalanchoe and I had the hardest time getting the box of extra dark chocolates for my husband out of my car without being seen. Today's also the perfect day to share a heart-y project! Hat commissioned by daughter, who, by the way, designed it all: purple and lilac stripes, pink hearts, earflaps and braids.
