Natale tutto l'anno: Febbraio - Christmas all year round: February

Eccoci qui con la seconda tappa del mio progetto lungo un anno: Stocking della serie Christmas Spirit Double Flip-It di Lizzie Kate. Che dire, ricamarlo è un piacere e anche svegliarmi presto nel fine settimana per dedicare un po' di tempo al punto croce non è un peso. Questa simpatica calza della Befana mi ha ricordato per tutto il mese il mio Pulcino. Da qualche tempo a questa parte per addormentarsi la sera si leva i calzini, tira fuori i piedini dalla coperta, mi abbraccia e crolla. Tappa del prossimo mese: Cookies!!!!

This is the second part of my 2016 project: Stocking from the series Christmas Spirit Double Flip-It by Lizzie Kate. Stitching it is so relaxing that I really don't mind waking up very early in the weekend to have some time for cross stitch. This happy Christmas stocking has reminded me all month long of my baby boy. Lately, before falling asleep at night, he takes both socks off, bare feet outside his blanket, he hugs me and starts snoring. Next month: Cookies!!!!

Veniamo ai propositi per l'anno nuovo e partiamo dal punto croce! Quest'anno ho deciso di ricamare Christmas Spirit Double Flip-it di Lizzie Kate, una sezione al mese, magari due ad agosto, in modo tale che sia pronto per far la sua bella figura il prossimo dicembre. Gennaio: Holly! Suddiviso su dodici tappe non è un progetto troppo impegnativo e conto di riuscire a rispettare le scadenze che mi sono data... l'altro progetto per l'anno in corso? Things Unseen Mystery Sampler: mi sono mangiata le mani per non aver partecipato al sal ma ho recuperato gli schemi e tutto il materiale e non vedo l'ora di cominciare... A proposito, mi sono ripromessa di non comprare nuovi schemi finché non avrò finito il Mystery. Lo scrivo qui, scripta manent.

Let's talk about New Year's resolutions and let's start with cross stitch. This year I'm going to stitch the Christmas Spirit Double Flip-it Series by Lizzie Kate: one flip-it each month, maybe two in August so that the banner is ready for the next holidays. January: Holly! It won't be very demanding if I keep up with my schedule. My other project for 2016? Things Unseen Mystery Sampler: I regretted not stitching along but I bought the charts and everything I need and I can't wait to get started. By the way, I solemny swear I will not buy any new chart until I'm done with the mystery. I'm blogging this, written words remain.
